Best Student Artwork - 2024 Reallusion 3D Character Contest - Sebastian - Real-time Digital Double

This is my submission for 2024 Reallusion 3D Character Contest. It is a real-time digital double of a friend made using Reallusion's Character Creator 4 and Iclone 8 and the amazing tools that come bundled with it. I used iphone 13 pro for the photos and used Agisoft Metashape for photogrammetry. Cleaned up the model and added details in Zbrush using Zwrap and vface textures. I used Adobe Substance Painter and Photoshop for texture corrections. To get realistic motions for the animation I used one of Actorcore's mocap animation that I adjusted according to my character and the feel I was aiming for, using Iclone. Cloth simulations for the final squence were done in Marvelous Designer. The final stills were rendered in Character Creator and the final sequence was rendered in Unreal Engine. The challenge of the project was getting the likeness right for a real-time digital double, therefore, I used some additional assets from Reallusion and Unreal Engine Marketplace that would compliment the look and feel of the character.
